About Biological Sciences and Engineering
The objective of this program is to present an interdisciplinary introduction to biological sciences and engineering, with a focus on science, technology and innovation that addresses African needs in health, agriculture and energy.
Approach
The certificate program is open to both AUST and non-AUST students who would like to develop a strong background in biomedical engineering, drug bio-discovery, bio-fuels and sustainable applications of biological applications. The students receive a certificate of completion at the end of each course. Students who complete an approved sequence of two courses receive a Diploma in Biological Sciences and Engineering.
