About Energy and Environment

The objective of the proposed interdisciplinary program is to provide a graduate level introduction to energy and the environment.

Approach

The program will present sustainable approaches to fossil energy, bio-fuels and oil spill remediation, as well as opportunities for entrepreneurship in eco-friendly approaches to water purification and the use of sustainable materials. The program is open to both AUST and non-AUST students who would like to develop a strong background in energy and environmental engineering. Students will receive a certificate after the successful completion of each course. Students who complete an approved sequence of courses will receive a Certificate in Energy and Environmental Engineering.
